NEW CRISIS IN CHINA.
WHOLE CABINET RESIGNS.
MINISTERS FLEE TO JAPAN. (Received -5.5 p.m.) Renter. PEKING. May 11. The Peking Cabinet has decided to resign en bloc. It is expected that a mandate will be issued appointing to the Premiership Wang Shi Cheng, who held the office during the latter stages of the European war. The Chinese Premier and Ministers of Communications and Finance have arrived at Kobe. Japan, from Tientsin, whence they fled, fearing arrest and possible assassination. The arrival of these and other refugees is embarrassing Japanese officials, who fear that anti-Japanese capital will be made out of their presence. Nevertheless it has been decided to afford them the fullest protection.
