Lady Sbackleton has written to the Prime Minister as follows from Eastbourne nuder date March 23:—" Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your kind sympathy in "my great sorrow and above all for yourr beautiful appreciation of my beloved husband. Your telegram will be treasured by his children. He loved New Zealand and had the most grateful recollections of the generous treatment be received there. Ho used to say he wo ild like ns all to liv« there."
