TAMAKI WEST AND OSTEND.
DETAILS OF THE POLLING. | The Tamaki West and Ostend Road 1 Board elections took place yesterday. There were 10 nominations for the fivo ; vacancies on tho Tamaki West Board, but tho polling was not heavy. Mr. L. J. Keys was tho only member of the old board who was re-elected. Details of the < ' voting are as follows: — Successful: Messrs. M. G. McArthur, 313 votes; ! F. G. Baskett, 292: A. T. Pycroft, 253 ; i L. J. Keys, 250; G. Neville, 240. Unsuccessful: Messrs. S. R. Pilkington, 233; O. Phillips, 201; C. M. Gray, 88; W. H. Reynold. 86; S. 0. Caulton, 46. j The three retiring members of the 1 Ostend Board were reelected. Details of the votinc are as follows : — Successful: Messrs. H. W. Wifliams, 75 votes; J. K. Faulconbridge, 73; W. J. Hill, 72. tinj successful-. T. W. Finer, 66.
