The Governor-General, ; Lord Jellicoe opened the new building at St. John's College, St. Heliers Bay Hoad, yesterday I morning. In the evening he attended j reunion of naval officers at the Grand ; Hotel

Lady Jellicoe attended ths meet of the I Pakuranga Hunt Club at Mount Roskill | yesterday morning, and in the evening was present at the performance of 'The Gondoliers" at His Majesty's Theatre. Their Excellencies have no public engagements for to-day. To-morrow they will leave by motorcar for Mercer, where His Excellency will unveil a war memorial. Their Excellencies will then proceed to Hamilton and Lady Jellicoe will present badges to girl peace scouts at a concert in the evening. On Saturday the Vice-Regal narty will visit Raglan, where His Eicellc-ncy will unveil the soldiers' memorial at 10.30 a.m, A civic reception and a luncheon will follow. On Sunday afternoon, Lord Jellicoe will unveil another memorial at Morrinsville, and on Monday will pay an official visit to Cambridge. The party will then travel to Tokaanu for a few days' fishing. The tour is expected to last over a week. ,
