NEW SURFDALE WHARF.
The official opening ceremony in connection with the new Surfdale wharf, Waiheke, will be performed this afternoon by Mr. Clutha Mackenzie, M.P. The steamer Wakatere will leave the Quay Street Wharf at 12.30 p.m., returning to town at about 6 p.m.
