POLITICS IN MALTA.
DEFEAT OF GOVERNMENT. VOTE TO ABOLISH SENATE. Auetralian Mid N.Z. Cable Association. (B«d. 4.30 p.m.) MALTA. April 4. The Government was defeated in the Legislative Assembly through the Constitutional and Labour Parties combining and passing an amendment demanding the abolition of the Semite, and refusing to vote the salaries of senators.
