The War of Tipton, in whose parish Ihe factory explosion occurred, which involved the deaths of 15 girls and severe injur)' to others, gave a square foot of his skin f>r grafting on ihe bodies of four BUivivors still in hospital. It is possible that owing to the eitent of the sufferers' burns other people may be to make similar sacrifices.
