ANOTHER AMALGAMATION. GEEAT WESTERN GROUP. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Weed. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb- 25. The Great Western Railway and 26 other lines in the West of England and Wales, are amalgamating under the Railway Act of 1921. Tho aggregate capita! of the group approximates to £150,000,000. Tile net income, it was anticipated, will reach £8,000,000. The absorption includes tho railway-owned docks at Newport, Cardiff, Barry, and other Welsh ports. Tho group retains the title of Great Western Railway.
