The rifle meeting progressed another, stage to-day, the Auckland match being completed in the morning and the' Wellington match being put through in the afternoon. Tho weather was dull and drizzling all tho morning with occasional showers of penetrating density, but the wind was generally eteady with little variation. After lunch the wind strong* thened and at timos was vory unsteady. Two possibles were secured at 500 yds. by Swaysland- and Barnelt, who euch added good totals at 600 yds. and got well up in tho prizo list. At 600 yds. Koppert put on 49 in the Auckland match and Bryan and Henderson did similarly in th» Wellington match. With three events completed out of eight counting for the aggregate, the proscut leaders aro:—Bryan (Auckland) 236, Guy (Kaponga) 236, Hunt (Wellington Suburbs) 236, West (Blenheim) 233, Eyles (Dannevirke) 235, Pimm (Christchurch) 231, Mayhem (Winton) 228, Guiney (Petone) 228, P.
