BOAT DRIVEN TO SEA.
DRIFTS ASHORE AGAIN.
FISHING PARTY'S ADVENTURE. [bx TELEGRAPH.—press ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. Three residents of Lyall Bay went out in a boat on a fishing expedition on Saturday afternoon, and were not heard of again until. Sunday, when a telephone message came from Mr. Eric Riddiford's station at Orangorongo stating that the boat drifted ashore on the coast, and the occupants, one of whom was a lad of 17, walked to the station, where they were fed and rested. On Sunday afternoon at 3.30 they left the station, intendis*: to walk through Gollin's Valley, 15 miles, to Eastbourne, where they expected to catch the ferry steamer for Wellington, but so far they have not arrived. No details are available as to how the boat got out of hand.
