MAILBOAT MYSTERY.
TITLED PASBENQER LOST. [FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] SYDNEY. Feb. 18. During the trip of the mail steamer Narkunda from London to Australia, on the morning of January 30 Sir Hilton Ralph Brisco was missed. _ He'was a most popular passenger, and his disappearance from the ship caused consternation. The whole vessel was searched, but no traoe of him was discovered. After leaving Bombay Sir Hilton Brisco was ill; that was on January 27 and 28, and he remained in his cabjn, But on the morning of January 29 ho rose and had breakfast, saying that he felt much better. He was about the deck all day, and appeared to be in his customary good spirits. Ho dressed for dinner, and made a hearty meal. Then he went on deck and talked with several friends. He was not seen again. On the morning of January 30 his bedroom steward found his bunk undisturbed. The matter was reported.to the officers, Mid a search was then made.
