FOUND DEAD ON ROAD.
[by telegraph.—press association.] GISBOBNB, Monday. A contractor named Edward Joseph Bennett, aged 62 years, was found dead near Te Araroa this afternoon. Bennett left the township riding one horse and leading another. His body was discovered on the roadside lying in nine inches of water.
