MUSIC TEACHER'S CRIME. [BI teleoeaph.—press association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. At the Supreme Court on Saturday Bernard and Arthur Coulter were charged with breaking and entering at Eltham. Tho iurv disagreed and a new trial was ordered. For theft Rangi Elers was sentenced to six months' hard labour.
Arnold Onslow Sturroch. a music teacher, was found guilty, after a brief retirement by the jury, of four charges of having committed an unnatural offence. A shocking story was revealed. Mr. Justice Chapman said ho would take a few days to consider the sentence.
