ANNUAL CHURCH PICNICS.
Several of the Presbyterian Churches held their annual picnics on Saturday. St. Heliers was the rendezvous ior St. James' Church, while Edcndalo and St. Peter's Churches proceeded to Poi" k Chevalier. In all rases the gatherings were most successful. sports being arranged for the children, refreshments being provided by the ladies' committees Splendid weather prevailed.
