ACCEPTANCE OF THE CUT.
The Railway Committee of the Canterbury Progress League has uian.momly a „ re ed to accept the Railway Department's proposal to run a through sen-ice to Invercargill on three dm in the week, and a service to Dunedin on the other three days, as a fair and reasonabe r o m promise." The only point upon which the committee intends to make representations to the department arises out of toe Minister's statement that the express train, from Christcburch will leave probably on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday" and from InWg.ll on toe other W cek days..
