LEATHER FROM AUSTRALIA.
EXPORT TRADE DECLINING. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Feb. 17. The Mangrovite Belting Company, Ltd., reports that the export leather trade is almost extinct. New Zealand, under the new tariff, imposes prohibitive duties on Australan leather. The Commonwealth should not hesitate iu effecting a reciprocal agreement.
