TEX RICKARD INDICTED.
WEEK TO PREPARE DEFENCE. A. and N.Z. NEW YORK. Feb. 16. Tex Rickard, the boxing promoter, pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault on a young girl. He was indicted by the grand jury, and held on bail of 10.000 dollars. He was granted a week to prepare bis defence.
