AGRICULTURAL SHOWS.
The 37th autumn show of the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society, to be held a'. Pukekohe on February 24 and 25, has attracted record entries. The riding, driving and hunting events will bo held on the second day, Saturday. The Morrinsville Agricultural Show, which will bo held on Wednesday, March 15 promises to be even more successful than in previous years. Generous prizes are offered in all the dairy sections, which it is anticipated will attract heavy entries. A prize of £50 is offered for the champion hunter with a substantial amount for the second horse. The choppins competition should a'so be a feature of this year's show. Eufcnes close on Wednesday, March 1.
