Tho demand for investment, stocks and Government loan issues was continued on the Auckland sharemarket yesterday. Inscribed Stock (Soldiers' Loan, 1933), sold at £94 10s, with more being asked for at th 0 price, sellers asking £94 12s 6d. In bonds Soldiers' Loan, 1933, were in demand at £94 10s, sellers quoting £94 15s. In banks Australasias were wanted at £11, sellers quoting £11 5s early in tho day, but they did not quote at. the final call. Fur Nationals £5 12s 6d was on offer, sellers £5 15s. New South Wales were wanted at £35 10», but, no business resulted, sellers asking £36 7s 6d. Now Zealands were scld at 47s 6d and the market dosed buyers offering 475. Both issues of I'mon of Australia were in demand at £11 12s, but there wa s no response from sellers. In instances New Zealandg were wanted at 27s 3d, sellers 28s. For South British 32? 6d was offered, but sellers remained firm at 335. In finance New Zealand and River Plate were sought after at 18-. sellers 20s. Taupiri Coal had buyers at 16s 6d, sellers 17s 6d. In gas Auckland? i were wanted at 20s 9d, sellers 2ls, the | contributing issue being in demand at I 16s 6d, holders asking 16s 9d. In shipI ping Huddart-Parkers had buyers at I 435, sellers 44s 3d. Northern Steamship | sold at 12s 8,1. In milling Waihis wero wanted at 18s, sellers 19s, and Grand i Junctions at 6s 7d. sellers 7s. Tho following sales took place:—Soldiers' Loan, inscribed stock. £94 10s; Bank of New Zealand, 47 s 6d; Northern Steamship, 12 3 Bd.
