THE LONDON MARKETS.

MONEY AND PRODUCE RATES.

BUTTER AND CHEESE. Butter.—Quiet and steady, prices being practically unchanged. Australian, unsaltcd 134s to 138s. Cheese,—Firm, at late rates, CEREALS. PRODDCE, AND SUGAR.

Wheat.—Cargoes are firmly held on higher United States and Canadian advices, but buyers are pausing; 5600 tons by an Australian steamer, February-March, sold at 565. Parcels are 6d higher, but there is a poor trade. Spot trade is quiet and occasionally firmer, Flour.—Firm Australian, 44s to 44s 6d. Barley.—Quiet and steady. Oats.—Firm and rather dearer. Peas and Beans.—Firm and unchanged. Sugar.—Unchanged. BRADFOED WOOL MARKET.

Bradford wool market is quiet. Quotations are easier. Good R4'a. 49d to 51d; ordinary 45's, 48d; 58's, 37d to 38d; 50's, 21d; 40's, 12d. METALS. Capper. — Spot, £C 0 Us 3d; forward, £60 lis 3d.
