S. AFRICAN CYCLISTS.
NEW RECORDS MADE. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Feb. 16. The South African cyclists made their final appearance last evening. Thursfield won two of tho three heats of the match race, over a quarter, half, and one mile, Hannon winning the half-mile. Thursfield attempted to lower the quartermile Australian record, but took 29 7-10s, or 3-10s more than the record. Kaltenbrim was third in the five-mile scratch race. He earlier established unpaced records for Australia over five and ten miles, his times being 12ni. 4 4-55., and 24m. 24 2-55.„ respectively.
