GERMAN CRISIS OVER.
DR. WIRTH'S VICTORY.
MAJORITY FOR GOVERNMENT,
SETBACK TO STONES. Br Teleffr&ph—Pres» Association— Copyright. (Received 6.30 p.m.) A. mid N.Z. BERLIN. Fob. 15. The motion of no confidence in the Wirth Government was defeated in the Reichstag yesterday, The Government's majority was 45. The Centre Party, the Majority Socialists and the Democrats voted solidly for Dr. Wirth. The Independent Socialists split their vote, and the Bavarian People's Party abstained from voting on the ground that it only objected to Dr. Wirth's policy in Bavaria.
The debate was the most dramatic since the revolution. Every seat was occupied and crowds without awaited the residt, which was received with frantic cheers. The result is regarded as finally discrediting the machinations of Herr Hugo Stinnes against the Ministry.
