44th WEEK'S PRODUCTION.
Km 44th vreelr. of the Auckland Poultrykeepers' Association's third single pen and team oce-laying competition conduced on Monday. The leading team ecores for the week are:— Heavy breeds, B. Sokolich's White Wyandottes, 24 cess: light breeds, "J. N*. McLean's No. 1, White Leuhorns, 23 eggs; Ducks, J. 0. Law's Indian Runners, 22 eggs; The leading teams in the light breeds and dnebs are laying better than the heavy breeds.
In the individuals, J. 0. Law's No. 2 Indian Runner leads with the excellent score of 259: W. Heighten's No. 3 has gained second place with 269. and R. G. Martin's No. 4 is third with £66 (all Indian Runners). In the light breeds, G. E. Moody's No. 4 leads with 263, and hie No. 1 is second with 239; while W. R. Frithey's No. 8 and J. W. Williams' No. 3 in No. 2 team aro a tie for third place with 238 esgs each (all Whit* Leihorus). In the heavy breeds, S. M. Tapp'a Ko- 3 leads with. 252; R. J.
