SNAKE AROUND HIS LEG.
BOY'S COOL CONDUCT.
A correspondent at Wellington, New South Wales, reports that recently a boy of 13 vears. Henry Williams, who resides I with hie parents on their farm at Ginger, Creek near Stuart Town, trod on the till of a black snake which was lying in the pass. The reptile immediately r.ilH itself around the boy's leg. He; shook it off. and then coolly looked for a ; H«.n< and hit the snake on the head, wounding it. The lad then got a sUck and killed tbo snake. ]
