The 26th annual show under the auspices of the Albany Fruitgrowers' Association will bo held on Saturday. Tho attractions include hunting, riding, stockmen's competition, log-chopping contests, and weight-guessing. The Highland Dancing Association will submit a good programme of events. Interest on deposits in the Auckland Savings Bank is now paid by the trustees up to £200 at the rate of 4# per cent, per annum on Hie monthly minimum balance of any account. This alteration has been made as the result of an amendment to the Savings Bank Act. A moonlight excursion and harbour entertainment will be held this evening. The ferry steamer Condor will leave the ferry tee at 7.45 o'clock and Devonport at 8. The. Devonport Boys' Brass Band will be on board the vessel. A moonlight promenade concert will bo given on the Avondale racecourse by the. Waterside Workers' Band this evening, commencing at 8 o'clock.
