WORKINGMEN'S CLUB.
ELECTION OP OFFICERS. The annual meeting of members of the Auckland Worklngmen'9 Club Mli Mechanics' Institute was held last even ing, about 150 members attending. The 44th annual report and balance-sheet disclosed a net profit of £1000. The election of officers held last Friday resulted aa follows —President, Mr. W. Purdy; vice-president, Mr. G. H. KatI terns; treasurer, Mr. A. E- Green; J auditors, Messrs. G. Fleming and A. Millar; committee, Messrs. F. BlomfieM, E Donovan, C. F. Fieldsend, J. A. Kennedy. J. M. Malcolm, F. R. Mason, G. Pedley, and T. Ward.
