ANNUAL STAFF PICNIC.
The annual picnic of the Auckland staff of the Vacuum Oil Company Proprietory, Ltd. was held at Woody Cove, Rakino Island permission to land being given by Messrs. Sanford, Ltd. The weather was delightful and tliero was a very large gathering of members of the staff, relafives and friends. Among those present were Mr. A. G. Gate, manager for the company in New Zealand. The arrangements of the committee, headed by Mr. W. C. fYaser, wore complete in every detail.
