The Anthony Wilding Memorial Shield h'e been oompleted, and will be competed for by provincial teams at the New Zealand championship meeting at Chrietchurch. The trophy i« of sqlid oak, and is circular in de- . sign. In the centre is a wised silver plate, bearing the inscription; " New Zealand | Lawn Tenni« Association Anthony Wilding 1 Memorial Shield." This, is surmounted by two crossed rackets, while at the side are i s"ctß of laurel leaves, the whole beine surrounded by the name cf Anthony Wilding,! which is in large silver letters. A small set of laurel loaves enoircles the shield, and near the extreme edgo of the oak work thero are numerous medallions lor the namte of the winners. •
