N.S.W. MINE TRAGEDY.
FOUR MEN ENTOMBED. ONE DEAD: THREE INJURED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Beod. U. 25 p.m.) SYDNEY. Deo. 13. A fall of coal at the Stanford Slerthyr colliery, near Kurrikurri, buried four men, named Robert Irving, Ezra Rawlings, Meredith Williams, and Reginald Tucker. Irving waa working in the tops when a fall of tops occurral, entombing him. The other three, men rushed to tho rescue, and when attempting to extricate him were buried by a second fall. Aftej heroic work in the danger zone the miners recovered the entombed men. When found Irving was dead and the other three;seriously injured.
