Dec 12. the Daily Mail asks: "Is the Union :> Jack and its incorporation in Dominion '* and other flags doomed as a result of the creation of the Irish Free State? Thin question the College of Heralds is consid- « ering." I: The Daily Mail points out that tho removal of the cross of St. Patrick after 120 years will transform the appearance of the flag. Probably it will be found that the deletion of the cross of ot. Patrick is not absolutely necessary. i;: • Other possible changes include the abo- ;;./ lition of the title United Kingdom, and the removal of the harp from the Royal ';.
