CAMBRIDGE, Thursday

Strong feeling is expressed in Cambridge in regard to tho half-holiday. Recently the Chamber of Commorco unanimously recommended tho Borough Council to revert to Wednesday, being of opinion that Saturday was unsuitable for country residents. The matter wae dealt with at a meeting of the Borough Council, when a large deputation, representing tho alhlotie club, business people, and farmers, presented a petition urging tho retention of Saturday. Tho council promised that tho representations of tho deputation would havo full consideration.
