OTAHUHU TROTTING CLUB. THE SPRING MEETING. Everything is in perfect order at Alexandra Park for the inauguration of the Otahuhu Trotting Club's Spring Meeting to-morrow, and, should fino weather prevail, a vory lartje assemblage may be expected to foregather at Epsom. There will be a lair sprinkling of visiting horces. and altogether the o.tlook for a successful and enjoyable afternoon's sport may, be regarded as bright, The horses cnga ed in the first race are to bo paraded in the birdcage at 11.30 a.m., and the programme will be run off in tho following ordr:—lntroductory Handicap (one milo and a-lialf), Mangere Handicap (one mile and a-quarter), Stewards' Handicap (one mile and a-half), Jellicoo Handxap (two miles). DISTRICT' COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Auckland District Committee was held yesterday. At the request of tho Whangarei Racing Club the suspension of L. Hanson, jockey, was reduced from three to two months; C. Sinclair's suspension was also reduced to two months. Tho suspension of P. Rayner's jockey liconse for two months by tho Auckland Racing Club was confirmed. The following licenses woro granted :— Trainers: P. Weston. Jockeys: J. A. Boale (three months). H. J. Matcer, H. Gray, J. J. Mulvihill, J. W. Pcarso, E. H. Youna, M. D. O'Shca (three months), T. Richards (threo months). Gentleman rider: P. S, Hill.
