DUTY ON BANANAS.
DIFFERENCE OVER IMPOST. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. Nov. 17. Tho Senate, by 18 votes to 9, adopted a motion that the duty on bananas bo a halfpenny instead of a penny, as requested by tho House of Representatives.
