CAMBRIDGE DAFFODIL SHOW.
[BY TELECIRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.} CAMBRIDGE, Friday The annual daffodil show was opened this afternoon by Mr. S. Lewis, the Mayor. It is a record show for the district as regards entries. The exhibits all round show a high standard of excellence comparing very favourably with those at leading daffodil shows of" the Dominion. I lie principal prize-winners in the open section were Miss Hopkirk (Cambridge) and J. H Braithwaite (Huntly), the for! mer winning the challenge cup. J Weigotraan (Tiraur), and Edgar James (Cambridge) were the chief winners in the novice classes.
