TO-DAY'S FORECAST.

GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows:—Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather generally with moderate to strong southerly winds, veering to north-westerlies shortly. The barometer has little movement.

MR. WRAGGE'S FORECAST. The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at seven o'clock last eviuning: —Energetic high pressure has temporarily hacked oS the approaching low pressure system, which is now in high latitudes of the midTasman Sea. This distribution of atmo--sphere implies further fine weather, with areas of cloudy sky\ Moderate to fresh wiuds from between south-west, south, and south-east, later backing northerly. Rough seas off the coasts. Coastal showers are likely south from East Cape.
