GERMAN DYES CHEAPER.
DYEING CHARGES HIGHER. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Sept. 6.
With reference to the cost of German dyes, the Yorkshire Observer states that the Germans have increased charges for dyeintr bv 300 per cent, on account of increased costs of labour and fuel, but German dyes themselves are considerably cheaper than three months ago, and +he general tendency continues downward.
