The Cryetalate Cup tournament waa commenced last evening in Billiards Limited Showrooms. Brineden waa opposed to Davis and the former showed very good form.' Davis had the run of the balls against him, and did not show up to his usual fjorm' Brinsden got going early, and at the eighth visit put on a 42, following this up with a <22 and a 24. He playod good, all-round billiards, and increased his lead at every visit, winning by 225 pointe. His best efforts were 42, 22, 24, 2d. 23, ,67, 22. 33, 21, and the loser's wore 24, 22, 20, and 2L To-night's gaga* w between A. Maaeeg and 2L Coheo.
