MOASCAR CUP FINAL. The final {or the Moascar Cup. between Auckland Grammar School and the Christchurch Boys' High School, will be played at Christchurch to-day. The contest ihould be an interesting one. as the teams are evenly matched, and a good game should result.

The selectors, Messrs. J. W. Bagrie and C. Webster, have selected the following playfcrs to represent the North Island against the South Island in the Association match to be played at Wanganui on September 17:—

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association met last eveningMr. D. E. Williams presided. Great enthusiasm prevailed owing to the fact that the Brown Shield had been won by Auckland and brought bock from Wellington. The shield was handed over by Mr. D. O. B. Corbett, captain of the team. Mr. Ball, one of the managers cf the Auckland team, complimented the members on their behaviour and also on their brilliant play- It was resolved to continue the Falcon Cup competition naxt Saturday, when the semifinals will be played. The next challenge for tne Brown Shield will be South Auckland. The match is to be played at an early date.
