Friday In oats there has been a little business passing among merchants, but prices remain unchanged. Business in seeds is quisi, j and the briskness has now gone out of red j clover, although values for red and whit* i clovers remain the same as last week. There I was some activity in linseed dealing toward the end of the weak, and £17 10s was given for one line. This is. however, a fictitious value, and the probable explanation is that I a buyer for Australia who was wanting to ! ship linseed, was compelled, in order to 1 fill his order, to go above the market value. which is recognised at from £14 to £15 10s. The" tono of the potato market became worse during the week, and although holders were anxious to sell at 30s per ton at cor.ntry stations there were no offers.
