It is officially estimated by the Greeks that the Turkish losses in killed, wounded, prisoners, and missing amount to 75 per cent, of their fighting strength. From Constantinople it is reported that the Turkish Nationalist Government has decided, in view'of the Greek advance, to transfer the Government and National Assembly to Sivas, 230 miles to the east of Angora. Greek warships captured a Turkish ship conveying troops and munitions, and also a quantity of Russian and Turkish gold coin.
