The Port Napier was expected to leave Wellington yesterday - for London, via Panama. , The Katoa is expected to leave Wellington either to-morrow or Saturday for Auckland with general cargo. The topsail schooner Elsie Mary arrived from Gieborne yesterday with general cargo. The Wingatui left Lyttelton at 10 p.m. on Tuosd with a cargo of produce for Auckland. She is due here to-morrow evoning, and will berth at the Queen's Wharf. The Union Company expects to have a vessel loading at Newcastle early in August for Dargaville and New Plymouth. The Waipori is to load general cargo at Melbourne at the end of this month for Auckland. The Wairuna _is due at Apia to-morrow trom ban Francisco. After discharging part of her cargo she will visit Auckland. The Northern Company's paddle steamer Wakatere, which was laid up on May 3 to undergo an extensive overhaul, is expected to resume her running in the Auckland--1 names service about the third week in August. _ ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. The TJlimaroa is due at Auckland to-mor-row from Sydney with passengers, mails, and cargo. She is. to sail on Tuesday on the return trip to Sydney. On August 10 she will leave the New, South Wales port for Wellington, where sho is due on August 14. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. A cablegram was received from Noumea yesterday to the effect that the Southern Cross will not arrive at Auckland from Melanesia until next Monday. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. The- R.M.S. Niagara forwarded a wireless message yesterday to the effect that she expected to arrive from Vancouver, via ports at 6 a.m. to-morrow. She will berth at the" Queen's Wharf, and is announced to sail for Sydney at 5 p.m. the same day. HATIPARA FROM SABINE. A.wireless message was received from the Hatipara yesterday to the effect that she expected to arrive from Sabine. Gulf of Mexico, on Saturday morning. She is bringing a cargo of sulphur, and will berth at the King's Wharf. RIMUTAKA FROM SOUTHAMPTON. TANK STEAMER OROWAITL The Union Company's new oil tank steamer Orowaiti, which is to be employed in carrying oil-fuel supplies for the Vancouver _ and San Francisco mail steamers, is a single-screw vessel, and the first of the company's ships with a " cruiser stern." She was launched in April by the Greenook Dockyard Company. Ltd., and was recently completed for service. She is a shelter-deck steamer of 6634 tons gross and 4051 tons net register, 40S.6ft. in length, 53.7 ft. beam, and 38ft. 6in. moulded depth."
