DAIRY PRODUCE OUTLOOK.

Sir,—The neivs of the past few days and the predictions of good prices for New Zealand butter in England during the coming -season owing to the present drought affecting the output of butter there, is quite buoying to our farmers in this country. But there may bo another side to the question, and that is there may be a drought here next summer, which would have tho samo effect here as in England regarding tho output of butter. I havo for many years noticed that the seasons following those in Britain have been similar to the British. This may be due to the condition of the sun affecting tho climatic conditions here, the seasons following those of the other (side of the equator. Last winter I spent in England and it was a mild one, and such we find is the case now in New Zealand. I am not a scientist, but would like to learn what scientists think on the subject. GMENHaRK.
