The Malaita has been Ixed to load guano at Walpole Island for Auckland. The Kanna will call at Napier on her way to Wellington, Lyttelton. and Dunedin. She is announced to sail at noon to-day. The Rimutaka, which is due ot Wellington on August 27 from London and_ Southampton, has 80 saloon and 271 third-class passengers for the Dominion, including 31 J saloon and 115 steerage for Auckland. The West Hepburn is expected to sail for i Wellington to-morrow to continue her discharge from New York. ; The Ngatiawa, which arrived from Opotiki : yesterday morning, is to relieve the Aupouri ' in the Thames-Auckland service while the latter is undergoing repairs. The Ngatiawa ' will sail for Thames at 5 p.m. to-day. In the mean- ■ time the Daphne will take up her running in the Auckland-Whangarei trade. ' The Waitemata has arrived at Bombay from Newcastle with a cargo of coal. The ' vessel will load at Calcutta and Singapore early next month for New Zealand ports. Owing to the Opotiki bar being unworkable there will be no steamer from Auckland for that port this week. The Ngatiawa is announced to leave for Opotiki on August 3 at 4 p.m, NIAGARA LEAVES SUVA. The R M.S. Niagara, en route from Vancouver and Honolulu, left Suva for Auckland at 5 p.m, on Monday. . She is due here on Friday morning, and is announced to leave for Sydney the same day at 5 p.m. THE VERONICA. H.M. sloop Veronica, which has beein on an extended visit to the Eastern and Western Pacific Islands, is expected to return to Auckland this week. ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. The Ulimaroa left Sydney at 2.30 p.m on Monday for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. She is bringing.2oo passengers and a large general cargo, including 920 cases of fruit. 200 tonß of hossian, 140 tons of sugar, 120 tons of tea. and 39,000 ft. of timber. The Ulimaroa is announced to leave i for Sydney on Tuesday. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The mission steamer Southern Cross is due at Auckland to-day from Melanesia. THE COLLIERS. The Kekerangu arrived from Westport . with a cargo of coal yesterday and berthed at the Hobson Wharf. The Maindy Lodge is expected to sail for Newcastle this evening.
