♦ INCOME TAX FIGURES. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON, July 25. It is announced that in 1919 the income i tax yielded 1,269,000,000 dollars, nearly - 142,000,000 more than in 1918. The nami b*r of persons who reported incomes of 1,000,000 dollars or more was 65, which is 151 less than in 1916. Returns were filed by 5,332,760 persons. Individuals of • the millionaire class only paid 99,000,000 dollars in tax.
