POMPEII EXCAVATIONS.
MORE TREASURES REVEALED. ELECTION POSTERS OF AD. 63. (Received 11.5 p.m.) Times. LONDON, July 25. Important new discoveries of treasures at Pompeii have been made recently as a result of excavations which have been in progress since 1911. The discoveries include a number of fine paintings, one depicting the 12 custodians of the city, a i house with the remains of a balcony and > first floor, two beautiful porticoes and a ! pergola, the remains of four shops covt ered with election posters, and a sacri- ; fecial altar with the ashes of the last sacri-s ) fice still preserved.
