July 6Practically the whole press, while claiming that misfortunes at Leeds and the absence of Hobbs made the difference between a draw and a defeat, pay wholehearted tribute to the Australians 1 immeasarable superiority in all departments of the game, and also commend the individual efforts of Tennyson, D6uglas, and Brown.
