TO-DAY'S FORECAST. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government mefcrologiet reported last night as follows:—Present indications are for moderate to strong south winds. The weather will be cold and fair to cloudy generally, but unsettled at times in the far north and south. The barometer has a rising tendency. MR. C. L. WRAGGE'S FORECAST. The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement •L. Wragge at 7.30 p.m. yesterday:—The entire country is r.ow ruled by a high pressure system which has two centres of energy, the one over the far North and the other over the South Island. These conditions point to generally fair to fine weather, with areas of cloud and winds from between S.W.. S., and S.E., with frosts inland. Sea moderate.
