WAGES REDUCTION ISSUE.

A ballot of operative spinners shows 95 per cent, to be against accepting the employers' proposed reduction of wages by 30 per cent. Mills employing 500,000 workers will close down on June 4 unless an agrcompnt is reached in the meantime.
