LAWN TENNIS.
THE REMUERA CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Remuera, Laura. Tennis Club was held on Friday evening. Mr. J. F. Ewen presiding over a fair attendance. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr. H. P. Richmond; vice-presidents, Messrs. L. A. Longuet. and E. Hickson- hon. secretary- and treasurer, Mr. A. W. Christmas; hon. auditor, Mr. W. H. Burton; committee, Mrs. Hickson, Misses M. Payton, N. MacCormick, Macfarlane. and Pagni, Messrs. Griffiths. Angus, Henderson. Pasley, Stokes, and Doidge. It was decided to make the due dates for subscriptions one month earlier for the coming season, the alteration making the latest dftte upon which subscriptions are payable,, without incurring penalties November 30.
