A resolution was-carried at a meeting ' of the Iron and Brass Moulders' Union t expressing dissatisfaction at the action of i tbe Arbitration Court in coming to the - decision as to stabilisation of wages for l 12 months, on the assumption that the \ cost of living was coming down. [ The Arbitration Court's pronouncement * in regard to the cost-of-living bonus was discussed by the Otago Labour Council. A resolution was passed protesting againstr the action of the Court in withholding the j bonus wbich the, workers were entitled to 1 under the. principle enunciated by the Court in April, 1919, and stating that it 1 was a distinct breach of faith to depart ' from thai principle.
